You might know your onions but can you eat them?

In honour of our historic venue, Dublin’s Wholesale Fruit & Vegetable Market, we've got a tasty challenge happening at Me Auld Flower. Join us on our Bastecamp stage daily for our Onion Eating Challenge.

Contestants will have to eat four rounds of onions with the final round being timed to determine the winner. You’ll start with a sturdy Irish spring onion, then a shallot, a red onion and for the final round it will be a large white onion that must be eaten whole in the fastest time they can manage.

The winner will be crowned the Onion Eating Champion and be awarded a Me Auld Flower swag bag
